Our Founders

Citizen Tours is a reputable Ghana based tours and Tour Agency founded by Joseph (Yaw) and George (Kwame).

Grew up in the small but historically significant coastal community of Elmina. Elmina is located in the central region of Ghana and is one of the first sites of European settlement in West Africa. Due to this rich local history, at a young age we developed a passion for celebrating and learning more about our local and national culture. Our many years of experience as tour guides has allowed us to share our passion and knowledge of Ghanaian culture with others before Citizen Tours was born in 2016.

Our staff members have traveled extensively all over the country knows the people, the sightseeing’s, their cuisine and even the places to shop. We are no strangers to every corner of Ghana, we deliver what we promise and that is the reason Citizen Tours is the choice for many travelers.

The company welcomes people of all ages and different cultural backgrounds with a smile.
